Short-Form Video Content Creator

We are looking for a creative storyteller who can recognize authentic moments and transform them into compelling short-form video content that makes people care, connect, and act.

The stories are already here, waiting to be told: playful kitten antics, everyday moments that make people smile, remarkable recoveries, rescue transformations, and the countless small victories that happen every day.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with St. Francis staff and volunteers to identify and capture authentic stories that showcase the mission and impact of St. Francis Animal Rescue.
• Produce, edit, and publish short-form video content for designated communications platforms.
• Write strong hooks, captions, on-screen text, and calls to action.
• Participate as a member of the Communications Team, contributing creative ideas and supporting coordinated communications initiatives.
• Monitor performance and help us learn which stories inspire meaningful action.

• Know how to tell authentic stories that connect with audiences—not just chase trends.
• Can write concise, engaging, and accurate written content.
• Are organized, dependable, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Have patience and good judgment when working with cats of all temperaments and medical needs.
• Can work respectfully with staff and volunteers.
• Can work onsite in Venice, Florida.
• Have access to your own video recording and editing equipment needed to produce high-quality short-form video content.
