Students of Service (SOS) develops young leaders who have a global perspective to solve local problems. Our programs combine meaningful local community service with informed international experiences.
SOS Site Leaders are a core part of the SOS operation, entrusted with a great responsibility of superivising students who volunteer for our 10-15 monthly community service events with partner nonprofit organizations all over San Antonio.
Site leader duties include:
-Arrive at the event site at least 15 to 20 minutes early
-Handle sign in and sign out for all participating students
-Take pictures and complete site leader report
-Most importantly, monitor student engagement, ensuring they are safe, on task, and having fun!
Volunteer expectations:
-All volunteers MUST pass a background check and attend training prior to volunteering
-Attend a minimum of 4 volunteer events each year (1 per quarter)
