2026 Triad Heart Walk Volunteer Opportunity

Project: We are looking for volunteers for our 2026 Triad Walk at Triad Park, 9652 W Market Street, Kernersville, NC 27284. We will need assistance setting up the festival area and help on the route. Volunteers will cheer on walkers along the route, hand out water during the walk, run the activation tables during the festival time, and help with breakdown of the event once it’s over.

Attire: Workout clothes or whatever you’d feel comfortable in. You will be on your feet and outside for the entire event.

3 shifts available:

• Friday, October 2nd, 2026: 12:00 PM -5:00 PM - This shift includes some heavy lifting and walking to set up for the event. Tasks include: Hanging banners, setting up tables, placing signage along route, etc.
• Saturday, October 3rd, 2026: 7:15 AM -12:30 PM -This shift includes some heavy lifting and walking to set up for the event. Tasks include: wiping down tables and chairs, setting up hydration stations, setting up festival area, welcoming sponsors, taking candid photography, assisting with the program, manning stations at the event site, refilling hydration stations, cheering on walkers, assisting staff as needed.
• Saturday, October 3rd, 2026: 12:00 PM -3:00 PM - This shift includes breakdown of the event and loading supplies in U-Haul. Some heavy lifting maybe required.
