Join ASN as a Volunteer ESL Tutor!
Help empower Afghan refugees and immigrants across Oregon by teaching English. Whether you prefer structured group instruction or 1-on-1 sessions, we offer flexible virtual and in-person roles with morning, afternoon, and evening shifts available.
- Language Requirements: Classes focus on immersive English learning, so Dari or Pashto fluency is helpful but not required.

About the Role:
- Tailored Learning: Classes are customized for specific student cohorts.
- Flexible Formats: Opportunities range from structured small-group instruction to personalized, 1-on-1 tutoring.
- Flexible Scheduling: Teach virtually or in person across morning, afternoon, or evening shifts.
- No Language Barrier: Fluency in Dari or Pashto is a plus, but not required—classes follow an immersive English-learning approach.
- Make a lasting impact in your community by helping Afghan refugees and immigrants build vital English language skills!
