Please join Rediscover Center at the 4th Annual Mid City Arts & Music Festival!
Volunteers will support Rediscover staff in the expansive KidsZone, where hands-on crafting, play, and imaginative activities will be the focus throughout a full day of creativity and activation.
Volunteer responsibilities include setting up and breaking down the space, preparing materials, monitoring the area for safety, and providing assistance to both staff and participants as needed for art demonstrations. We have three volunteer shifts available throughout the day, each lasting around 3 hours.
After you sign up on Idealist, a member of Rediscover's staff will contact you to confirm your shift and provide a brief orientation for the day. You can also sign up to volunteer for the festival or any of our events directly through Rediscover's website.

¿Cómo llegar?
The Mid City Arts & Music Festival was founded in June 2017 by community partners with the support of the Mid City Neighborhood Council and CD10. The festival is funded through the neighborhood council outreach committee, CD10 - City Council Representative, Heather Hutt, and other community partners, such as St. Elmo's Village, The Ebony Repertory Theater, & Tipping The Scale.
The festival is FREE to the public, and aims to highlight our local artists, musicians, community organizations, and businesses. Festival goers enjoy food trucks, live music, live art, and most of all, the rich cultural diversity that makes Mid City great.
