Board of Director Seeking Vice-President

The Woman's Friend Society has a history of empowering women through the progressive works driven by their Board, members, and volunteers. Our primary mission today, providing affordable housing to women in transition, is our most important endeavor.

Our entirely volunteer Board of Directors seeking individuals interested in a Vice-President Board of Director position for us to effectively manage and lead the organization into the future.

This individual will work with the President in strategic planning, fundraising, donor cultivation, and financial oversight, often acting as second-in-command to the President.

The Woman’s Friend Society houses 21 in Emmerton House, built in 1811-1812 as a single-family McIntire style brick double house of Federal Period construction. The Emmerton House requires scheduled maintenance and repairs to maintain the home for residents. The Vice-President works with the Emmerton House Resident Manager in creation of a maintenance and repair plan
