Help expand access to free life skill curriculums in Weld County, Colorado schools and youth organizations to promote mental, social, and behavioral health, resilience, safety, equality, and academic and life success in youth.
This flexible role is ideal for volunteers who enjoy connecting with people, advocating for youth education, and creating meaningful community impact.
Description:
As a Youth Life Skill Curriculum Ambassador, you will help schools and youth-serving organizations discover free, easy-to-use, online video life skill curriculums that include interactive games to support positive youth outcomes in Weld County, Colorado.
By helping equip organizations with PowerUp curriculums they can use in their own programs and services, you will help youth build confidence, healthy decision-making skills, resilience, and comprehensive life skills that support their well-being and success.
What You’ll Do:
- Introduce Weld County schools and youth organizations to our free life skill curriculums using a contact list and written and video introductions that we provide.
- Reach out by email, phone, or in person to share curriculum information.
- Advocate for life skill education as a research-backed solution to the unprecedented struggles faced by youth, and to the challenges of serving young people today.
- Share how to follow up with Youth Empowerment Group with questions or to get started with curriculums.
Impact:
Your outreach will directly increase the number of youths gaining crucial life skills to navigate today’s challenges with confidence.
Time Commitment:
Flexible, 2 to 5 hours per week for 2 or 3 months
Location:
Flexible: volunteers will ideally reside in or near Weld County, Colorado, but online remote help within the United States is also appreciated
Training & Support:
We provide all training, messaging materials, and ongoing support—no prior experience required.

Although we prefer applicants from Weld County or near by to allow for hybrid online and in-person training and volunteering, we would consider and appreciate help from people with relevant talents anywhere in the U.S. Please join us!
