Responsibilities:

1. Content Creation:
   • Develop engaging and informative content tailored to each platform's audience and best practices.
   • Collaborate with team members to gather stories, testimonials, and updates to share on social media.
   • Create visually appealing graphics, images, and videos to accompany social media posts.
2. Posting and Scheduling:
   • Schedule and publish posts across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Nextdoor.com, and X according to the content calendar.
3. Community Engagement:
   • Foster a sense of community among followers by initiating and participating in conversations.
   • Stay up-to-date with social media trends and platform updates to optimize content strategy.
4. Advocacy and Awareness:
   • Promote events, fundraisers, and initiatives to increase participation and support.
   • Raise awareness about the issues facing veterans and highlight the impact of our organization's programs and services.

Qualifications:

• Experience with social media accounts for organizations or brands.
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Knowledge with Social Media Management tools
• Creative thinker
• Passion for supporting veterans and their families is a plus.
• Evidence of US Citizenship
