Volunteer Camp Medical Staff - Camp Connect - Camp for Siblings Separated in Foster Care

Camp Connect is an overnight summer camp for siblings that are separated in foster care to have uninterrupted time together to bond and be kids. Camp Connect takes place May 31st-June 5th at YMCA Camp Shady Brook in Deckers, CO, and includes classic summer camp activities, such as horseback riding, canoeing, archery, swimming, climbing, etc, and our own signature activities such as visual and performing arts, a carnival, and a pj dance party.

The Volunteer Camp Medical Staff is a role that is vital to camp operations. Camp Medical Staff are responsible for administering medication to campers, volunteers, and staff during the five days of camp and two days of training. They administer first aid as needed, and supervise campers if they are sick/resting in the medical station. Medical staff ensure that camp rules and regulations are followed and that safety is maintained for all participants while in their care. Camp medical staff are trusting, responsible, caring adults that are organized and can keep medication logs. Medical assistants, EMTs, nurses, medical doctors are encouraged to apply. We need you!

We need volunteer medical staff at camp from May 30th-June 5th. Partial week volunteer shifts available, as well as the full week. All meals provided. Background check required.
