Crocheting Hospice Volunteers - Teach or Create!

We are looking for generous and loving volunteers to join our clinical staff and spend some quality time with our patients either by teaching them how to crochet or spending time in the comfort of your own home making crotched lap blankets, hats, mittens, scarfs or more! The cold season is approaching and nothing would mean more to our patients that a handmade gift.

Canyon Home Care and Hospice believe that no one should die alone, and often times a visitor from outside the family can help prolong a person's life!

Studies have shown that engaging our patients in a new hobby or providing a simple cozy gift can go a long way for our hospice patients. Your time is invaluable to the patient, their caregivers and our staff. We can only provide great care with you!

Requirements:

• 18+ yrs of age
• Background Check
• Fingerprints
• Vehicle History Report
• TB (provided by Canyon)

WE PROVIDE ALL CROCHETING YARN; YOU WILL JUST NEED TO PICK IT UP AT OUR MAIN OFFICE.
