Empowering Youth Through Mentorship

The KC Kansas Angels Dare to Dream® Program connects caring mentors with youth to walk alongside them through life’s challenges and milestones. Mentors provide consistent encouragement, guidance, and a safe, supportive relationship—reminding each young person that they are seen, valued, and capable of great things.

Sometimes the most powerful words a youth can hear are simple: “I believe in you.” “You matter.” “You can do this.”Dare to Dream mentors help meet both practical and emotional needs, working with their mentee to set goals, build confidence, and pursue their dreams at their own pace.

Mentors commit to meeting with their mentee every other week for one year, offering stability and encouragement during a formative season of life. While many relationships last far beyond the program year, the one-year commitment creates a meaningful foundation for growth and hope.

We are currently seeking Dare to Dream mentors in Johnson, Leavenworth, Douglas, and Wyandotte counties. If you’re ready to invest in a young person and help shape a brighter future, we’d love to walk this journey with you.
