Mailroom Volunteers needed at UChicago Medicine AdventHealth Bolingbrook Hospital

UChicago Medical AdventHealth Hospital in Bolingbrook is looking for detail-minded, friendly and organized volunteers to help in our mailroom. The times for this opportunity are flexible and available on any weekday.

Under the supervision of the Manager of Volunteer Services, volunteers in this role will be responsible for sorting incoming mail into the correct mailboxes and delivering that mail throughout the hospital. Time involved would be about 2 hours per day.

Volunteers should have the ability to think quickly and act with patience and compassion.

• Must be able to work under stressful situations and in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent customer service is required
• Must be dependable
• Must be at least 16 years old
