    About us

Pretty With Purpose, Inc. is a nonprofit empowering young women through mentorship, leadership development, college and career readiness, workforce development, health and wellness, and community engagement. This role leads our Youth Success & Behavioral Development Program (Pathways to Success / Breaking Barriers), which focuses on growth and potential, not labels.

    What you will do

    • Manage the program calendar for weekly mentoring, life-skills workshops, restorative circles, community service, and career exposure
    • Coordinate individualized success plans with schools, families, and program partners
    • Organize sessions on decision-making, emotional regulation, conflict resolution, healthy relationships, goal setting, and financial literacy
    • Build relationships with schools, alternative education campuses, counselors, community organizations, and families
    • Connect participants to counseling, educational, and community services through approved channels
    • Track attendance, progress, and outcomes such as family engagement and successful transitions
    • Report progress and resource needs to the Director of Programs and recommend practical supports

    • Organized, dependable, and strong at follow-through and communication
    • Skilled at juggling deadlines and keeping accurate records
    • At ease working respectfully with teens, families, volunteers, and community partners
    • Committed to confidentiality, youth safety, and appropriate boundaries
    • Preferred, not required: experience in youth mentoring, restorative practices, life-skills programming, school or community partnerships, or trauma-informed and strengths-based approaches

    What you will gain

    • Hands-on program management experience with measurable outcomes
    • Experience building partnerships with schools and community organizations
    • Collaboration with other program managers and nonprofit leadership
    • A meaningful role in helping young people build confidence and a path forward

    Commitment

Ongoing volunteer role, reviewed periodically. Hybrid, with planning and reporting done remotely and in-person attendance at approved sessions and events in the Dallas area. Hours are flexible and focused on deliverables, coordinated with your supervisor, the Director of Programs. This is a coordination role, not a clinical one.
