Social Media & Promotions Chair – The 831 Experience

Powered By Love is seeking a Social Media & Promotions Chair to serve as the voice and storyteller of The 831 Experience. This volunteer leadership role will oversee social media strategy, digital storytelling, volunteer recruitment marketing, and public awareness campaigns leading up to our transformational event serving unhoused neighbors in Phoenix.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and schedule engaging content across social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and other digital channels.
• Develop marketing campaigns that increase community awareness, volunteer recruitment, and donor engagement.
• Share stories, updates, impact highlights, and event milestones while maintaining brand consistency.
• Collaborate with event leadership to promote fundraising initiatives, sponsorship opportunities, and volunteer needs.
• Assist with post-event impact reporting, donor recognition campaigns, and digital stewardship efforts.

Qualifications:

• Experience in social media management, marketing, communications, public relations, digital content creation, or related fields preferred.
• Strong writing, storytelling, and audience engagement skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and maintain a consistent online presence.
