Volunteer Afterschool Tutor (Grades 1-8)

Do you enjoy helping kids succeed in school and building meaningful one-on-one connections? La Rabida Children’s Hospital is seeking dedicated volunteer tutors to support our patients and their siblings in grades 1st through 8th.

When & Where:

• Every Tuesday & Thursday, 5:30-7:00 pm
• October 14, 2025 - May 12, 2026
• Onsite at La Rabida Children’s Hospital

What You’ll Do:

• Be paired with one student for the full school year to provide consistent, personalized academic support.
• Help with homework, study materials, and skill-building in core subjects.
• Encourage confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning.

Who We’re Looking For:

• Volunteers age 16+ who are patient, reliable, and passionate about helping children succeed.
• Ability to commit to both weekly tutoring sessions (Tuesdays and Thursdays).
• Experience tutoring or mentoring children is a plus but not required-training and support provided.

2 shifts available:
