Hospice Companion Volunteers Needed in Wolfforth, TX!

Make a lasting difference by becoming a patient direct volunteer. In this role, you’ll provide companionship and emotional support to patients receiving hospice care, often in their homes or in long-term care facilities. Your time can help ease loneliness, bring joy, and support families during a very meaningful time.

What You’ll Do:

• Visit patients regularly to talk, read aloud, play games, write letters, or simply be present
• Provide respite for family caregivers so they can rest, run errands, or take a break
• Offer compassionate listening and companionship to patients nearing end of life

Requirements:

• Compassionate, dependable, and comfortable spending time with patients
• Ability to listen well and provide support without judgement
• Completion of hospice volunteer orientation, background check, training, and TB screening
• Must be at least 18 years of age
