Cowlitz County Hospice Volunteers Needed!

Come and be a part of our amazing group of caregivers here at PeaceHealth Hospice!

We are in HIGH NEED of evening and weekend Front Desk Volunteers for the Richard Nau House. Weekday needs are 2pm-6pm and Weekend needs are 830-1230 (Sat only) and 1230-430 (Sat and Sun).

NEXT TRAINING: (Trainings are held three times a year)

Feb 27 and March 13 9 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

May 13 and May 27 9 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Sept 15 and Sept 29 1 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Both dates required, plus about 12 hours online instruction.

We are looking for compassionate volunteers who want to assist patients and their loved ones with their end-of-life journey.

Caregiver Relief (no medical care)

Kitchen help at the hospice house

Front Desk for the hospice house

Veteran-to-Veteran support

Licensed hairstylists

A health screen and background clearance by PeaceHealth at our expense are required for all incoming volunteers. These requirements must be met before you can begin training as a volunteer.
