Box Truck Driver

What You Will Do (Responsibilities):

• Drive: Safely operate a box truck (no CDL required, just a clean license) for local routes.
• Load & Unload: Manually load products, boxes, and carts into the truck at the pickup location.
• Deliver & Secure: Secure cargo with straps to prevent damage during transit.
• Unload: Unload items at the final destination, often organizing them at the distribution area.
• Inspect: Perform simple pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (fuel, fluids, lights).
• Interact: Represent the organization professionally when interacting with donors or site staff.

What We Are Looking For (Requirements):

• Valid Driver’s License: A clean driving record is required.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50+ lbs regularly (lifting, bending, walking).
• Experience: Previous experience driving box trucks or large vehicles is preferred, but we will train the right person.
• Reliability: Dependable and punctual 8:30am M-F.
• Commitment: Availability as little as 1 day or up to 4 days a week .
