The American Red Cross is looking for a Licensed Mental Health Professional to volunteers as a Reconnection Workshop Facilitator

Volunteer Position: Reconnection Workshop Facilitator (Virtual – Western NY Region)

Organization: American Red Cross – Service to the Armed Forces (SAF)

Support military members, veterans, and their families by co-facilitating Reconnection Workshops focused on mental wellness and resilience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate at least 2 workshops per year (Monroe County priority)
• Stay current on behavioral health practices for military populations
• Collaborate with SAF staff and other facilitators
• Record volunteer hours per Red Cross policy

Qualifications:

• Licensed mental health professional (active or retired within last 5 years)
• Master’s degree or higher in mental health field
• Experience with military communities preferred
• Willingness to follow Red Cross/public health policies
