James River Hospice, Lynchburg, VA is looking for a few really good Friendly Visitor Volunteers to visit with our patients in and around Lynchburg. Our Hospice provides services to terminally-ill people within 50 miles of Lynchurg.

Hospice is a system of care rather than a place. As a James River Friendy Visitor in Lynchburg, you will visit a patient in whatever setting they call home; an assisted living facility, a 55+ community, the house where they raised their family or a nursing. At James River Hospice, Lynchburg, we ask you to bring the sunshine when you visit with your patient. We offer training to help you feel confident in your role as a Volunteer. James River Hospice, Lynchburg pays for your required TB test, drug screen and background check.
