About Us:

Dulce Vida Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving California and Mexico. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome sick, abused, and abandoned dogs and cats. We also provide spay and neuter services through local clinic partnerships and promote responsible pet ownership within our communities.

Role Summary:

As our SEO & Digital Strategist, you will play a key role in expanding our online reach. Your expertise will help more people discover our rescue, support our work, and adopt or foster pets in need. You will:

• Audit and optimize our website and content for search engines
• Research relevant keywords and implement SEO best practices
• Develop strategies to increase web traffic and online engagement
• Provide guidance on content marketing, backlinks, and visibility
• Collaborate with our team to improve user experience and conversions

What We're Looking For:

• Experience or strong interest in SEO, Google Analytics, or digital strategy
• Understanding of SEO tools (e.g., Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs)
• Knowledge of content strategy, UX, and web traffic growth tactics
• Clear communication and ability to work independently
