Social Media Moderator for OPB (age 18+)

Each year, hundreds of volunteers help OPB fulfill its mission of connecting people across Oregon and the Pacific Northwest through the power of a shared story.

Help OPB connect with the community!

Ensure that our social media page reflects our expectations for engagement and alert us if a community member posts a question for one of our reporters.

We have shifts available seven days a week during the morning, afternoon, and evening. Training is provided. If you have access to a computer/laptop, email and internet, you can do it all from the comfort of your own home!

Please note: We are unable to accommodate service requirements related to court mandates, academic assignments, unpaid internships, graduation requirements, housing or treatment programs, or other outside organizations.

Opportunity Requirements:

• Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older to participate in this opportunity
• Must reside in the U.S. or Canada
• Participate in a 45 min. training over Zoom
• Commit to at least one 3-hour shift per week, minimum 3 months
  • Active working time is usually 1-1.5 hours per week within a 3-hour shift
