Help out at our Open House / Makerspace Opening!

We are excited to invite the Los Angeles community to the grand opening of our new Makerspace and upcycled materials warehouse—an all-in-one STEAM education space. We’re seeking friendly, reliable volunteers to help ensure the event runs smoothly.

Event Date: Thursday, January 29

Volunteer Shift: 3:00 PM – 7:30 PM

Location: 6065 S Western Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90047

Volunteer Roles Needed

1) Guest Check-In

Welcome attendees at the entrance and assist with check-in using a tablet.

2) Food Station Support

Help monitor the food area and ensure it stays organized and accessible.

3) Parking Lot Walking Guide / Crossing Support

We expect to use a parking lot located approximately 1.5 blocks away. Volunteers will help direct guests along the route so no one gets turned around. This role will rotate in short shifts (about 15 minutes each) so no one is outside for long periods.
