A Gentle Paw, A Loving Heart - Honor Lives with Pet Therapy in Hernando County

AccentCare Hospice is seeking compassionate volunteers with therapy animals to help brighten the lives of our patients. While you and your pet are brightening our patients’ lives, you might find that your life becomes brighter too!

AccentCare Hospice of Hernando County serves patients and families in your area. Our Loyal Friends Pet Team program is currently seeking new volunteers with certified therapy animals to visit our patients wherever they call home. Be it a residential home, nursing home, assisted living, or independent living community, our patients would love to meet with a friendly pet to add love and peace to their end-of-life care.

Even if you only have a few hours a month to give, we would be honored to have you join our team and support our mission of offering compassionate, personalized hospice care. Training is free and flexible to fit your schedule, and you can choose what area you want to serve.
