All volunteers are required to complete an application process (background check, drug screening, etc.) and training. It usually takes 2-4 weeks before volunteers begin seeing patients.
Descripción
Music is universal and has to power to bring joy and healing to those who hear it. If you have any musical abilities you would be willing to share with people receiving hospice services, or even just a love of music, please know that there are many people who could benefit from your time and gifts. Many of our patients love to hear live music or even to sing along with a Spotify playlist. These activities can ease stress, provide pleasure, and improve the quality of life in people dealing with illnesses. Please contact our volunteer coordinator if you would like more information on how you can have a positive impact on those in our community.
