    Blog Coordinator (Volunteer)

    Remote Volunteer Position

    Approx. 5–10 hours/month

    Minimum 1 year commitment preferred

    Minimum Age: 19

    At Low Entropy Foundation, we believe in the power of storytelling, reflection, and shared experiences to foster growth and community connection.

    We are currently looking for a dedicated and organized Volunteer Blog Coordinator to help support and coordinate our growing blog community. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys communication, organization, community-building, and working collaboratively with writers and creative volunteers.

    What You’ll Be Doing

    Writer Coordination & Communication

    • Coordinate monthly blog themes, writing prompts, and article sign-ups
    • Communicate with volunteer writers regarding deadlines, submissions, and expectations
    • Ensure articles are submitted on time and forwarded to the Blog Editor for review
    • Support ongoing engagement and communication with the blog writing team

    Volunteer Onboarding

    • Help oversee new writer applications
    • Coordinate with the Blog Editor regarding application reviews and writer approvals
    • Support onboarding for approved writers, including:
      • Sharing instructions and expectations
      • Ensuring volunteer documentation is completed
      • Welcoming new writers to the team

    Administrative & Organizational Support

    • Maintain volunteer records and organizational documents
    • Help oversee writer hour-tracking for volunteers completing volunteer hour requirements
    • Support internal coordination processes to help the blog run smoothly

    Creative Collaboration

    • Collaborate with the Blog Editor to brainstorm:
      • Monthly themes
      • Writing prompts
      • Blog topics and ideas
    • Help contribute to a welcoming and supportive creative environment

    We’re Looking For Someone Who:

    • Is organized and dependable
    • Has strong communication skills
    • Enjoys working with people and supporting volunteers
    • Is comfortable coordinating schedules and deadlines
    • Has basic administrative and digital organization skills
    • Is passionate about storytelling, community, or creative expression

    Bonus Assets (Not Required)

    • Experience with blogs, writing, editing, or volunteer coordination
    • Experience using Google Workspace or collaborative online tools
    • Interest in nonprofit or community-based work
