Volunteer Opportunity: Support Community Programs with Muslim Sisters of Staten Island

Muslim Sisters of Staten Island (MSSI) is a women-led nonprofit dedicated to uplifting and empowering women and families through community programs, advocacy, and service. We’re looking for compassionate and motivated volunteers to join our growing team and support our mission to serve the Staten Island community.

Volunteers will help across a variety of areas, depending on their interests and availability. Opportunities include:

• Event Support: Assist with setup, coordination, and outreach for community events, workshops, and thrift shop days.
• Administrative Assistance: Help with data entry, organization, and communications.
• Outreach & Engagement: Connect with community members, distribute flyers, and represent MSSI at events.
• Creative Projects: Support social media, photography, flyer design, or storytelling initiatives.

This is a great opportunity for anyone passionate about community service, women’s empowerment, or nonprofit work. Whether you can give a few hours a week or help on event days, your contribution will make a real difference.
