Manna Food Pantry, A Ministry of Penbrook UCC

Manna Food Pantry is a client based pantry that lets the clients shop for their food rather than getting a bag that was already packed. We try to provide as many fresh vegetables and fruits as we can. Adults can come once a month.

We welcome anyone who might be interested in volunteering one to three times a month. Hours are 5:30 pm. to 8 pm. If you are working, we ask that you be here before 5:30 pm, if possible.

Needed: Someone with a pick-up truck, or van to pick-up food on Thursday morning’s from the Central Pa. Food Bank, and bring it back to the Manna Food Pantry, at 10:45 am., till noon. Must be able to pick-up heavy items.

Also needed: Someone to be at the Manna Food Pantry on Friday’s at 8:00 or 9:00 am, to 12:30 pm to help unload the truck from the Pa. Food Bank and stock the pantry shelves.

Also needed someone who can speak Spanish to assist with communicating with our Spanish speaking clients. Please indicate that you speak Spanish in your response!!
