Imagine being months overdue for a haircut and being unable to get to the salon or barber shop? During Covid, our hospice patients went a full year without salon services due to the lockdown, and although things are better now, it can still be difficult to get a wash, cut, and style. When you're sick, these little things can make such a difference!
If you are a licensed cosmetologist and have a couple of spare hours each month, please consider volunteering your time to visit a patient. The conversation and companionship will be equaling uplifting to the patient's new look! We promise, you'll get as much or more from each visit as the patient.
