Help Save Lives—Your Way

MatchingDonors.com is offering eligible F-1 OPT students a unique opportunity: use your education, experience, and skills to design a volunteer role that can produce measurable results for our organization.

Instead of giving you a fixed list of responsibilities, we want you to tell us what you can accomplish.

Your idea can involve AI, automation, software, marketing, social media, research, communications, business development, analytics, sales, outreach, or another area directly related to your field of study.

You do not need to build something from scratch. We encourage you to use and combine existing tools, technology, platforms, and services to produce results quickly.

This Is a Results-Driven Position

This is not a training program or a position where simply logging 20 hours per week is considered satisfactory performance.

We expect you to already possess the skills necessary to carry out the role you propose and to work independently with reasonable guidance from our team.

Your first 14 days are a performance review period.

Your project must begin producing tangible, trackable, verifiable results within two weeks.

At the end of two weeks, we expect to see:

• What you completed
• Where the work can be verified
• What measurable results it produced
• If you cannot produce tangible, trackable results in one of our High-Priority Areas within two weeks, you must apply for and be accepted into another available MatchingDonors.com volunteer position to continue volunteering with us. Acceptance into another position is not guaranteed.

Your Work Will Be Tracked

Your work and results will be reviewed by your Team Leader and our OPT Compliance Team.

Where applicable, campaigns and links must be tracked through Awin.com so we can independently measure traffic, registrations, donations, conversions, and other results.

You must maintain accurate records and be able to substantiate your reported hours, work, and results.

False, inflated, duplicated, or unverifiable reporting may result in immediate removal from the volunteer program.

High-Priority Areas

Charitable Asset Donations

Help increase donations of real estate, cars, boats, RVs, airplanes, stocks, collectibles, and other valuable assets.

Develop outreach, marketing, partnerships, social media, automation, AI systems, referral programs, or other strategies that generate qualified donation inquiries and actual donations.

Organ Transplant Patient & Living Donor Outreach

Develop strategies to increase appropriate awareness, outreach, and registrations involving patients, potential living organ donors, transplant centers, hospitals, healthcare professionals, advocacy groups, and community organizations.

Use social media, outreach, partnerships, technology, automation, or other authorized methods that can produce measurable results quickly.

Volunteers may not access protected patient information or use AI or automation to independently counsel, evaluate, or match individual patients or potential living donors.

Advertising & Sponsorship Development

Help generate advertisers and sponsors for MatchingDonors.com, DailyDiabetesNews.com, DailyTransplantNews.com, and IrishDailyTransplantNews.com.

Target healthcare, pharmaceutical, insurance, wellness, medical technology, nutrition, medical device, and related organizations.

The objective is qualified responses, conversations, proposals, advertisers, and sponsors—not simply creating prospect lists.

Social Media Performance Requirements

If social media is part of your proposed role, even if your AI program has not been completed you will be required to:

• Publish 50–75 quality posts per week
• Create and actively manage at least 8 appropriate social media platforms
• Establish a presence on 10–15 well-chosen new platforms, communities, directories, or relevant sites per week during your first month
• After the first month, identify 1–2 promising new platforms per week while concentrating on the channels producing the best results
• Track engagement, traffic, registrations, donations, and other measurable outcomes
• Use required Awin tracking
• Expand strategies that work and change those that do not

Meeting posting quotas alone is not satisfactory performance. Quality and measurable results are required.

Professional & Compliance Expectations

Who Should Apply?

This position is for self-starters who already have skills they can put to work immediately.

You should be able to work independently, take ownership of your project, meet deadlines, document your work, analyze results, and adjust your strategy when something isn't working.

If you are primarily looking for training, need continuous supervision, or are primarily looking to accumulate OPT volunteer hours, this position is not a good fit.

OPT Requirements

Your volunteer position must comply with applicable F-1 OPT requirements and be directly related to your field of study.

Before beginning, you are responsible for confirming with your Designated School Official (DSO) or International Student Advisor that the proposed position is appropriate for your OPT authorization and that you meet all applicable requirements.

When appropriate, MatchingDonors.com will provide documentation accurately describing your approved volunteer position and participation.

In return, we expect accountability and measurable results.

If you can turn your skills and ideas into tangible results within two weeks while helping MatchingDonors.com reach more people, increase charitable donations, expand our programs, and ultimately help save more lives, we want to hear your proposal.

This keeps the hard 14-day rule, Awin tracking, OPT Compliance review, 50–75 posts, 8 platforms, 10–15 new sites, accountability, and consequences, but removes most of the repetition. It now reads much more like an actual job posting rather than a policy manual.
