Hospice Volunteers - Patient/Family Support (Fresno/Clovis)

Are you compassionate, empathetic, and looking for a meaningful way to give back to your community? Join our hospice team as a Hospice Patient Volunteer and make a difference in the lives of patients and their families during a challenging time.

Volunteers....

• are non-medical
• do not participate in patient feeding
• do not providing direct care
• do not help administer patients medications.

Main duties of a volunteer are...

• to provide brief relief to caregivers when and if they need to run errands.
• read to patients,
• listening to music
• communicate with and listen to patients.
• and/or provide companionship.
• available minimum of 5+ hours a week

Requirements:

-Must be at least 18 years of age
