We do have a 10 hour on-line training program, and orientation for all our Volunteers. We ask our volunteers for a commitment of a minimum of 4 hours per month

Make a difference at the end of Someone's life!
Bristol Hospice is seeking compassionate, giving Veteran volunteers who can make a huge difference at the end stages of our Veteran patients' lives. Small gestures--reading a book, listening to music together, or simply holding a hand can have a profound and lasting impact on those we serve. Veteran Volunteers are special and specific to Veteran patients, as you "speak the same language" and can share Military experiences. It is amazing, and can be life-changing for you as a companion Veteran visitor. Be a part of a beautiful ending in someone's life story.
