Volunteer Fundraising & Business Outreach — Boston Community Impact Fund

Help STATUS PROJECT INC. build the resources needed for community stabilization in Greater Boston. We are a Boston-based 501(c)(3) public charity developing coordinated pathways to housing stability, health and recovery resources, benefits navigation and economic opportunity.

We seek volunteer support for two connected fundraising initiatives: the Boston Community Impact Fund and “100,000 people. One dollar each.” Both currently support the same fund through our official Zeffy donation form. The $100,000 figure is a fundraising goal.

WHAT YOU CAN HELP WITH

• Share approved campaign materials with your personal and professional networks.
• Research businesses, employers and community organizations with relevant charitable-giving or employee-matching programs.
• Help prepare personalized outreach, introductions and follow-up for organizational review.
• Identify prospective sponsors and in-kind supporters for community outreach and launch activities.
• Help track outreach and campaign engagement using organization-approved tools.

WHO THIS MAY SUIT

People with an interest in fundraising, business outreach, communications, community organizing or nonprofit development. English and Spanish skills are welcome. Prior fundraising experience is helpful; tell us which skills you would like to contribute.

This is an unpaid volunteer opportunity. Participation does not require making a donation, paying a fee or meeting a personal fundraising quota. Availability, tasks and scope will be agreed with STATUS PROJECT before work begins. Volunteers use approved materials and refer contributions directly to the official fund; commitments and sponsorship agreements require organizational approval.

The organization is developing its program infrastructure. Assistance and program expansion depend on funding, capacity and applicable approvals.
