Role Overview
As a Volunteer Trucking & Logistics Coordinator, you’ll help organize and support the transportation of donations and supplies. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys planning, problem-solving, and working with people to keep things moving efficiently.
What You’ll Do
- Help coordinate pickup and delivery schedules for donations and supplies
- Communicate with drivers, volunteers, and partner organizations
- Assist with route planning and basic logistics coordination
- Track shipments and ensure items arrive on time
- Help maintain simple records of deliveries and inventory movement
- Support loading/unloading coordination when needed
What We’re Looking For
- Interest in logistics, transportation, or operations
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a dynamic environment
- Comfortable using email, spreadsheets, or basic tracking tools
- Reliable and team-oriented mindset
- Experience in logistics or trucking is a plus, but not required
Time Commitment
Flexible and based on your availability. A few hours per week or help during busy periods can make a big impact.

Requirements/Qualifications
✅ Must be 18 years of age or older
✅ You must be willing to commit time on a regular basis
✅ Strong communication and interpersonal skills
✅ Knowledge of Office365 and other computer programs is a plus.
✅ Ability to work effectively in a team environment
✅ Willingness to learn and take initiative
✅ Basic knowledge of Habitat's work and mission is a plus
✅ Passion for social impact and community service
