Drive Seniors and Make a Difference

Ashby Village is a community-based network of seniors living in the greater Berkeley area united by a desire to remain in their own homes as they get older. They are aware of the fact that they may increasingly need assistance and support.

Although there are opportunities for other kinds of help, one of the greatest needs is for drives to medical appointments or grocery shopping.

The amount of time spent volunteering could be small, but the gratitude and satisfaction is large.

Volunteer screening includes: Application, references, background check, interview, and orientation/training.
