Virtual Hospitals Africa is looking for a senior volunteer to lead the effort to engineer user experiences with the potential to connect millions of Africans to health care.
About Us
We are a non-profit addressing a vital healthcare gap in rural Africa. Our telemedicine platform links frontline workers with global specialists, enabling continuous care, early risk detection, and improved patient outcomes.
The Role
Our Lead UI/UX Engineer will help build out key user experiences for health workers, supporting all aspects of a nurse’s clinical workflow and case review for remote doctors.

- Lead the engineering effort for key user experiences, including seeking treatment flow, remote case review, clinical decision support, and patient monitoring 🩺
- Work with an incredible international team of product leaders, engineers, and designers ✨
- Ship code fast in a supportive environment 🚀
