If you are 18 or older, and out of high school, and have daytime availability, you might be the perfect fit for our team!
The Pediatric Department at Hennepin Healthcare is seeking compassionate, reliable, and enthusiastic volunteers to help create joyful and comforting experiences for our young patients. As a volunteer, you’ll:
- Interact with children of all ages and backgrounds
- Support play, reading, and creative activities
- Provide moments of fun and distraction during hospital stays
- Help foster a welcoming and inclusive environment
We especially welcome multilingual volunteers to support our diverse Minneapolis community.

Cómo participar como voluntario(a) en esta oportunidad
Please visit our website listed above to complete the volunteer application. Once your application is accepted, you will receive instructions outlining the next steps. These will include:
- Scheduling an interview
- Submitting immunization records (including two doses of Varicella and MMR)
- Providing updated TB testing and flu vaccination documentation
- Completing a background study
One of our Engagement Coordinators will guide you through each step of the process to ensure everything is completed smoothly.
