The American Red Cross Los Angeles Region is seeking students ages 16 and older for its Summer 2026 Summer Internship Program (SIP). This program offers hands-on experience, leadership development, verified community service hours, and résumé-building opportunities while supporting the lifesaving mission of the American Red Cross. Interns are placed within one department and work alongside staff and volunteers on meaningful, real-world projects.

Communications (COMMS)
Disaster Cycle Services (DCS)
Biomedical Services (BioMed)
Eligibility:
• Students ages 16 and older (high school, college, or recently graduated)
• Must register as a Red Cross volunteer and comply with organizational policies
Program Dates:
June 16 – August 13, 2026
Key Timeline:
• Application Deadline: April 1, 2026
• Interviews: April–May 2026
• Final Selection: May 4, 2026

• Certificate of completion
• Verified service hour documentation
• Letters of recommendation (upon request and based on performance)
