#MLK Serve-a-thon: Bremerton Foodline

Event Description:

Honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. by joining Bremerton Foodline for a Day of Service dedicated to advancing food justice and strengthening our community. Volunteers will help sort, stock, and distribute fresh and shelf-stable foods to our neighbors in need. Together, we’ll continue Dr. King’s vision of equity, dignity, and service through hands-on action that ensures no one in our community goes hungry.

Volunteer Roles May Include:

• Sorting and organizing food donations
• Restocking pantry shelves and preparing food boxes
• Assisting clients in our self-select market
• Assembling hygiene or snack kits for unhoused neighbors
• Beautifying our outdoor community spaces

Who Can Volunteer:

Individuals, families, service groups, and company teams are welcome! All ages 12 and up (under 16 must be accompanied by an adult). No experience necessary - just a spirit of compassion and teamwork.
