Ride Coordinator Volunteer – Help Seniors Stay Mobile and Independent

Support older adults in maintaining their independence by helping coordinate transportation through the Ride PVI program. As a Ride Coordinator Volunteer, you will assist in arranging and monitoring rides for seniors who are no longer able to drive themselves. Your work helps ensure they can attend medical appointments, go grocery shopping, and remain socially connected while staying safe.

Ride PVI is a unique transportation service that helps older adults remain active and engaged in their community. Volunteers play an important role behind the scenes by helping keep the program organized and running smoothly.

Volunteer Responsibilities:

• Order and monitor rides for senior participants
• Assist with light data entry and digital file organization
• Help with voicemail transcription and mailings
• Support basic database updates and program coordination

Skills & Requirements:

• Must be 15 years or older
• Detail-oriented and dependable
• Comfortable using Microsoft Word and Excel
• Basic database experience preferred

Schedule:

Flexible volunteer hours between 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Weekend hours coming soon)
