Volunteers Needed for the 2026 Best Buddies Friendship Walk in Long Beach!

Best Buddies International is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to establishing a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment, leadership development, and inclusive living for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).

The Best Buddies Friendship Walk is the leading walk in the country supporting inclusion for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (also known as IDD).

Our Long Beach walk will take place on Saturday, April 25th at Shoreline Park (200 Aquarium Way, Long Beach, CA 90802). We're looking for volunteers to support the walk on the day of the event. Here is a link to the event website: https://www.bestbuddiesfriendshipwalk.org/losangeles/

We're looking for volunteers to support with event set-up, registration, distributing food and water, cheering on walkers, and breaking down the event. You can volunteer for the entire event, or sign up for a 2-3 hour shift.
