Nurse station volunteer

In this role, volunteers provide administrative support to our nurses' station by buzzing people into our building during office hours, answering phones and delivering messages to the appropriate departments, and assisting patients with making phone calls. This role is pivotal in maintaining smooth operations on our respite floor. It also provides prospective volunteers with the opportunity to experience a respite unit firsthand and engage with our patients on the unit. Currently, our biggest opportunities to volunteer are weekends, especially Saturdays, but we welcome volunteers to check in periodically to see what shifts are available.

• 13:00 to 15:30 EST
• some Saturdays and every Sunday: 15:00 to 17:00 EST
• 1st and 3rd Saturdays of every month: 15:30 to 17:30 EST
• some Saturdays and every Sunday: 17:00 to 19:15 EST
• weekdays only: 17:30 to 19:30 EST
• first and third Saturday of every month: 17:30 to 19:30 EST
