The Visiting Volunteers Program is our "signature" volunteer opportunity, connecting older adults and individuals with disabilities with caring community members who provide companionship and support. Volunteers build meaningful one-on-one relationships through weekly visits over the course of a year, helping reduce loneliness and social isolation while enhancing quality of life.
Volunteers receive training in person-centered engagement. Visit schedules are flexible and determined by you and your matched friend. If you're looking for a rewarding way to make a lasting difference and build a meaningful relationship, we'd love to have you join us.
Commitment: Weekly visits (flexible) for one year
Training Provided: Yes
Impact: Helping older adults and people with disabilities remain connected, supported, and independent in their own homes for as long as possible.
