Board Member Opportunity

Oak Hill School | San Anselmo, CA

Oak Hill School is seeking thoughtful, mission-driven leaders to join our Board of Directors.

For 25 years, Oak Hill has supported students ages 8–21 on the autism spectrum, providing individualized education and therapeutic support in a structured, nurturing environment. In partnership with public school districts, we serve students whose needs require a specialized setting focused on growth, stability, and meaningful progress.

As we enter our next chapter of growth, we are looking to expand and strengthen our Board.

We Are Seeking Individuals With:

• Passion for special education and inclusive learning
• Experience in finance, law, governance, facilities, fundraising, or nonprofit leadership
• Strong strategic thinking and collaborative leadership skills
• Commitment to equity, accountability, and long-term sustainability

Prior board experience is welcome but not required.

Board Responsibilities Include:

• Attending approximately 6–8 board meetings per year (evenings, Marin County or virtual)
• Serving on at least one committee
• Supporting fundraising and community engagement efforts
• Providing strategic oversight and fiduciary governance

This is a volunteer position with meaningful impact. Board members play a critical role in ensuring the long-term strength of a school that supports students and families during some of their most important developmental years.
