World Water Solutions (WWS) is a Bad River Chippewa Native-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Hawai‘i dedicated to clean water access, sustainable agriculture, and regenerative community projects. We’re reactivating post-pandemic and growing fast — building partnerships, securing grants, and preparing for fiscal sponsorship to expand our impact across island and Native communities.
Role Overview
We’re seeking a Volunteer Treasurer to join our core leadership team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about environmental sustainability, community resilience, and ethical finance — with the opportunity to transition into a paid position once our sponsorships and grant funding are activated.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and maintain WWS’s financial records and budget reporting
Ensure compliance with nonprofit financial and IRS guidelines
Collaborate with the Executive Director and team on fiscal planning
Support grant management and future audits
Prepare simple monthly reports for internal review and board meetings
