    About Students 2 Science (S2S)

Students 2 Science is a nonprofit organization dedicated to making science accessible, tangible, and inspiring for students of all backgrounds. Through hands-on laboratory experiences, we connect students from elementary through high school with real STEM professionals who help them see a future for themselves in science.

    About the Opportunity

We are seeking volunteers with pharmaceutical or life science experience to support our Pharma Career Day and ISAAC STEM programs. Volunteers help students explore pharmaceutical research and development through guided experiments using industry-standard lab equipment.

No teaching experience is required. Your professional insight, curiosity, and willingness to engage with students are what matter most.

    What You Will Do

    • Guide high school students through hands-on experiments related to pharmaceutical and life science concepts
    • Share career insights from your own experience in pharma or laboratory settings
    • Encourage curiosity, critical thinking, and confidence in a professional lab environment
    • Assist with light setup, cleanup, and material restocking
    • Collaborate with S2S staff and fellow volunteers to ensure a safe, welcoming experience

    When You Can Help

    • Shifts run from approximately 8:15 or 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday through Friday, depending on school visits
    • Scheduling is flexible. Volunteer as often as your availability allows

    Who We Are Looking For

    • Adults 18 and older with experience or interest in pharmaceutical, biotech, chemistry, or laboratory science
    • Retired professionals, active industry employees, and career changers are all welcome
    • Volunteers willing to complete a background check facilitated by Students 2 Science

Why Pharma Professionals Love Volunteering with S2S

    • Make a lasting impact by helping students envision real careers in pharmaceutical science
    • Stay connected to laboratory work and cutting-edge instrumentation
    • Share your knowledge in a rewarding, low-pressure environment
    • Join a community of passionate STEM professionals and educators
