Help restore Comstock Township's parks by removing invasive plant species!
Led by Kalamazoo Nature Center crew members, these hands-on workdays will focus on removing invasive plant species. We'll start at Cooper Park and work until it's clear of invasives, then move on to the next park in the series. It's meaningful, visible work with direct impact on local green spaces.
No experience needed. Tools provided.

Cooper Park is located at 6183 Oran Ave. Street parking is available on Oran Ave near the intersection of Oran Ave and N 26th St, with additional street parking on Worden Ave.

We'll be starting at Cooper Park (6183 Oran Ave, Kalamazoo, MI 49048) and may move to other Comstock Township parks as the season progresses.
Weather & Rescheduling - If a session needs to be rescheduled or cancelled, we'll communicate it as soon as possible.
