Help make a change in the lives of homeless women and children by supporting Home of the Sparrow's Sparrow's Nest Thrift Stores. Volunteers are essential in supporting our programs and services.
Sparrow's Nest Volunteers provide assistance throughout all areas of the store.
Primary duties and qualifications include but are not limited to:
- Accepting, sorting, cleaning, pricing, and displaying donated merchandise
- Positions in specialized areas such as cashiering, floral arrangement, window dressing, and store design
- Ability to commit to a minimum of 3-4 hours weekly
All Sparrow's Nest Thrift Store locations include: Cary, McHenry, Mundelein, Palatine, Third Lake, Woodstock and Community Threads in Arlington Heights. Shifts available Monday-Saturday, 10:00AM - 5:00PM.
