Volunteer Needed to Help with Homeschooling Children

We are looking for a kind, patient, and dependable volunteer to support our family in homeschooling and early learning for our children (ages 5 months, 1 year, 5 years, and 10 years).

Schedule:

• Monday–Thursday, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM (4 hours/day)
• Flexible commitment even a few hours a week makes a difference

What You’ll Do:

• Engage the younger children (5 months & 1 year) with nurturing care, sensory play, and early development activities
• Guide the older children (5 & 10 years old) through reading, writing, math, science, art, and creative projects
• Teach and introduce a foreign language (fun, age-appropriate lessons for beginners)
• Incorporate real-world learning: financial literacy, basic computer skills, problem-solving, and hands-on activities
• Support lessons that make learning fun, practical, and connected to everyday life rather than traditional school methods

Skills We Value:

• Patience and a love for working with children of multiple ages
• Creativity and ability to make learning fun and interactive
• Teaching/tutoring/childcare experience (helpful but not required)
• Bonus: Familiarity with Canva to help create simple worksheets and visuals
• Bonus: Experience with foreign language instruction (any language welcome Spanish, French, Arabic, etc.)
