Volunteer Leadership Role (Committee Chair for Social Media)

Location: Preferred: Bucks County, PA or Cleveland, OH area but remote will work

Time Commitment: 5-10 hours per month (flexible)

About The Big Puddle: The Big Puddle is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our mission is to provide resources and support to people living with disabilities, homelessness, those who are medically fragile, or experiencing mental health challenges. Through partnerships with home and community-based service providers, we bridge gaps in equitable care by providing funding and support for services that are currently out of reach including daily living skills, assistive technology, employment services, mental health programs, companion hospital support, and mentoring programs.

About the Role: Lead our social media strategy and online presence as Committee Chair for Social Media. This role reports to the board and will help amplify our impact through digital storytelling and community engagement.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement social media strategy across platforms
• Create and schedule engaging content
• Lead a committee of volunteers supporting social media efforts
• Track metrics and report on social media performance to the board
• Coordinate with other committees for integrated communications

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of social media platforms and best practices
• Experience managing organizational social media accounts
• Creative content development skills
• Leadership and volunteer management experience preferred
